Memorial Meeting for Heras Stalwarts
On Tuesday, 5th October 2010 at 5.00 p.m. a Memorial Meeting will be held in St. Xavier’s College (Multi Media Room, 1st floor), Mumbai, to pay tribute to two stalwarts of the Heras Institute - Fr. Anthony D’Costa S. J. and Dr. A. Cherian.
Fr. Anthony D’Costa, was a former Director of the Heras Institute and Editor of its Journal “Indica” for several years. He passed away on 11th August 2010.
Dr. A. Cherian was a Research Guide at the Heras Institute and many students acquired their Ph.D. degrees under his expertise. He passed away on the 25th August 2010.
