We regret to announce that a stalwart of the College, Prof. Melky Alvares of the Chemistry Department, has left us for his heavenly abode on Wednesday 9th September, 2009.
His friends, former students, colleagues were present at a Memorial Service on the 14th of November, 2009, in the Multi Media Room of the College on the first floor - the MMR was dedicated to his memory by an alumnus, a few years ago.
Prof. Melky is remembered by generations of students for his academic contribution to their lives, especially for giving them a love of the subject and teaching them to "think out-of-the-box".
